​ICS Training


The Incident Command System—ICS—is a program developed by the Federal Emergency Management Agency. It can be used to manage any type of incident, including planned events like parades; or natural hazards, like an ice storm or a blizzard. ICS provides an organizational structure for incident management and guides the process for planning, building, and adapting that structure. The training will cover such topics as Chain of Command, Incident Action Plans, Span of Control, Management of Resources, Communication, Accountability, Planning, and Logistics.

ANNUAL & SEMI-ANNUAL MEETINGS

Twice annually we have SCPAAA meetings, which include speakers, awards, presentations and a chance to share recent volunteering experiences.
